Review

The events take place in Africa. On a farm, wild lions are bred. Further, they are killed or sold on the black market. All the processes go as they should do until a lion escapes and kill several people.

Another plotline is about O`Hara who leads a squad of soldiers to save the governor`s daughter and other hostages from rebels. The soldiers have to face blood-thirsty rebels and enraged lions on the way to their mission.

Here, we shall mention that the movie has a message behind it. M.J.Bassett is known for being a wild-life protector. Thus, the film is not only action-filled with chasing, shooting, exploding, but it attracts our attention to the problem of animal abuse.

Among new movies to stream, we would recommend this one for an evening in a family circle.

Genre: Drama

Director: Eliza Hittman

Awards: Silver Bear Grand Jury Prize

Review

This is an amazing creation by Eliza Hittman. It might seem to be slow sometimes, but in general, it totally makes an impression the director intended to make.

The film is about a teenage girl, Autumn, who gets pregnant. In her native state, parental permission is needed for an abortion. Thus, supported by her cousin Skylar, she travels to New York. The destination choice is based on a simple detail: there, teenagers are allowed to do abortions without parental permission.

We don`t know whom Autumn was in a relationship with. Just some moments reveal that it could be an abuse: when Autumn sings at a school concert, and further when she is filling a questionnaire where she has to reply to simple questions by choosing options Never Rarely Sometimes Always. While filling in the questionnaire, she makes rethink many things in her life. With her, we do the same. The questionnaire is used to determine the vulnerability of the person who is filling it in, and this is one of the main highlights in the movie.

This is not the only film that describes abortion issues. However, here, we see something amazing indeed. The director didn`t intend to create something pathetic. Neither she focused on the ugly city of New York. Instead, she concentrated on what a teenage girl feels and how she perceives her pregnancy. There are no monologues, dialogues are also just a few, and they aren`t long. Maybe that`s why the film makes us think. This is definitely one of the best films in 2020

Review

This movie is spoken a lot about. And no, we aren`t reviewing it here just because it is one of the best new polish movies. Rather on the contrary: it owes its popularity to extremely poor acting, absolutely mediocre special effects, and a completely dull plot. Well, the plot might be not so dull but in the end, the movie creators managed to spoil the idea in the most incredible way.

Here is the plot.

Scientists move to the place where a massive asteroid shower was observed. They have to find out the reasons for it. However, instead, they discover that a bigger threat is coming. The threat is so immense that the scientists have to contact the military generals to prevent them from shooting the asteroids but instead to concentrate on looking for solutions.

How did you like it? The plot isn`t that bad, is it? Now, add absolutely bad acting, no knowledge about asteroids by the movie creators, unnatural effects, and you get an idea of how the movie is.
